Every time we were given excuses, quoted totally different working hours, lack of staff, bad weather, etc. It took us 5 days to get Hobie catamaran. Waterfall with jaccuzi seems to be not working most of the time. Pools close at 7, which is kind of early for summer. That expectedly doesn't work, but irritates people, so after whistling for 15-20 minutes he just goes home. Lifeguard leaves at 6 and same time for known only to him reason tries to get everyone out of the water. Paraiso Beach has nice sandy seabed, neighbouring resorts have some huge underwater rocks, so almost everyone goes to water at Paraiso Beach section and it can get crowded. Seaweed gets removed promptly from the sand, but not from the water where it can stay for a while before getting washed ashore. Cocktails are way oversweetened and lack real flavor. Beef kebabs (buffet) and pork ribs (steakhouse) were probably the best meat dishes without extra pay. A la carte restaurants are not much better. It isn't all the same every day, dinner has some daily variations e.g. Nothing exciting but quite allright in variety and quality. Iberostar app is extremely helpful and has maps, menus and activity schedules. Internet service is superb in all parts of the resort, even on the beach. Entertainment team does good job with fun pool games and night shows. It's probably the best kids club we ever saw in all-inclusives. Amazing modern kids club with non-stop programs in different areas of the resort complex. Guests can also enter more expensive Lindo and Maya but not to use their restaurants or towel stations. Big beautiful pool worthy of bringing your own inflatables. Stayed 9 days in August with wife and two kids. Thank you to the following hotel staff for their kindness and attention: Sergio at the bar by the beach, Javier and Sergio by the entrance, you guys are the best! Israel at the lobby bar, Gilberto at the Brazilian restaurant, Alejandra, Fatima, Nehemias and Gilberto at the buffet restaurant. They have a coffee house, a crepe and ice cream place, and a taco restaurant called Takito, their tacos and drinks are SO GOOD! This is included with your stay. I also recommend you take a cart over to the shopping strip nearby. I got to try the ice cream by the pool though, they had chocolate, blueberry cheesecake, pecan, and other flavors. We didn’t spend much time by the pools so I don’t have feedback on them. The food area was very clean (I always look at that). The food selection at the beach was very good! Options included hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, fries, a variety of salads, fruit, nachos, and at certain times they also serve tacos al pastor (pork), which were really good. The beach was clean, no seaweed when we arrived, but as it starts accumulating, they are on top of it, clearing it out of the way. A huge thank you to them!! You must try the food at the restaurant located right before you get to the beach, (sorry I forgot the name of it) but it has several delicious options. Chef Chai and restaurant manager Christian make sure guests are happy with their selections especially those with allergies or who have food restrictions. The Brazilian restaurant did not disappoint but my favorite was the French restaurant! I had salmon and beef tenderloin, amazing!! The presentation was impressive. As far as restaurants, the aguachiles at the Mexican restaurant we’re absolutely delicious. The food at the buffet was amazing, highly recommend “Mexican night”. The room also provides 2 glass tumblers (I believe they’re 24oz) that you can use to refill with purified water, there are stations on every floor. The room was very clean, amenities included shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion so you don’t need to pack these items. I stayed 5 days in a double bed room with a friend.
